Appointment information

On November 12th, 2024 all of our services are managed through our Total Triage Service. This service is designed to offer fair and equal access to all of our patients.

Our new triage service will allow equal and fair access for all, with GPs reviewing your request the help you receive the best advice or the treatment you need.

We recommend that you contact us using the NHS app or through our website, where you will fill out a contact request form. You will still be able to use the phone to reach a member of our team who can complete a contact form on your behalf.

The receptionists are all trained and are there to help you.

We do ask our team to inquire from you the nature of your problem in order that you may be given the most appropriate help. Anything you tell them will be treated in absolute confidence. We do understand that you may only wish to divulge your concern to the doctor, practice nurse or advanced paramedic practitioner and on such an occasion a simple statement such as “it’s a personal matter” will put an end to further inquiries. This may mean you receive a further request for information from a clinician in order to arrange appropriate care.

You can request a specific practitioner. We will try to ensure you see your requested clinician, and this will be subject to availability of appointments and the availability of the clinician.

Depending on the details you provide, you may be directed to our paramedic, to our Advanced Nurse Practitioner, or to a pharmacy. You will be seeing someone who is appropriate to your needs.

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.
