PART TIME DISPENSER

16 hours per week, over 3 days as follows: (With the possibility of some flexibility)                                          

Monday           10.00 to 18.00   (incl. 1 hour unpaid break)                                                                  

Thursday         14.30 to 18.30

Friday              13.00 to 18.00                                      

 

You will need to have excellent customer service skills to enable you to provide a prompt and accurate medication dispensing service to patients. The position requires someone who is flexible, efficient and works well under pressure with a good level of computer literacy and keyboard skills

Previous experience of working in a dispensary or retail pharmacy is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided. The successful candidate, if not already a qualified dispenser, will be required to enrol on the equivalent NVQ level 2 qualification after 3 months of joining the Practice. Professional guidance will be provided. Competitive salary offered. This is a permanent post.

PRESCRIPTIONS ADMINISTRATOR

16 hours per week, over 5 days as follows:                 

Monday                         09.00 to 13.00                                                              

Tuesday – Friday         09.00 to 12.00

 

We have a vacancy for a part time Administrator to join our friendly dispensary team. The successful post holder will need to have excellent customer service, administration and communication skills together with a good level of computer literacy and keyboard skills to provide an efficient and confidential service.

You will act as a focal point of communication between the GPs, receptionists, dispensary staff, patients and local chemist, as well as other members of the primary health care team, to ensure patients’ repeat medication is produced in line with current protocols.

Experience of working in a medical environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. Competitive salary offered. This is a permanent post.
